Junior Leadership Program Application

Purpose

Each year DCF partners with the Hardee Chamber of Commerce to offer membership in this program for High School students. The program's purpose is to identify junior leaders of diverse backgrounds, and develop their potential and desire to accept civic responsibilities and leadership roles. 

Program Classes

This program will facilitate open dialogue among emerging junior leaders and current community leaders and will acquaint them with the processes, programs, opportunities and challenges that face our county.   Class members are led through nine comprehensive days over the course of a class year that each  pinpoint focus on a different segment of Hardee County, including: Agricutlure, Business and Industry, Communications and Culture, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Law Enforcement, Local Government and Infrastructure. 

Eligibility

● Current student of Hardee Senior High School
● Maintain a minimum of a 2.5GPA 
● Maintain 90% attendance in school 
● Maintain exceptional conduct at school and within the community
● Receive Administration Authroization (Guidance Counselor, Assist Prinicple, or Prinicple) application signature
● Complete and submit a full and complete application
